About the Soccer Substitution App

Features

We built Substitution Cavalry (SubCav) to make coaching simpler so you can focus on the game. Below are just some of the features available.

  • Player Time Tracking – SubCav allows coaches to effortlessly monitor and manage each player’s field time.
  • Automated Substitutions – SubCav ensures fair play time for all players. Automatically prevents players from sitting on bench for more than one block of time.
  • Spectator Dashboard – Parents can follow along in real-time to see when their child is playing.
  • Scoring – Coaches can keep score with the app and parents can watch. Goals can be assigned to individual players.

Setup a game in seconds!

  1. Deselect any players that are unavailable for the game.

  1. Choose the positions you want your players to play.

  1. Select your game duration, substitution interval and 1st and 2nd half goalies.
  1. Although it’s discouraged, you have the ability to restrict players to certain positions, such as Erik (below). 
  1. Your substitution schedule is generated!  Here you can see all substitutions in one view. You can shuffle players, save, and print.

  1. Use the Game Dashboard to start the game clock, keep score, and manage substitutions with ease!
  1. Send a link to parents, allowing them to track substitutions, their child’s field time and time remaining..
